A Stratford-upon-Avon mum-of-two is boarding a new career path thanks to her passion for adventure and family travel.
Donna Nixon, who has lived in Stratford-upon-Avon all her life, is launching a new independent travel agency, 52 Degrees North Travel, to help travellers enjoy greater holiday inspiration and travel protection.
The former communications and marketing manager will help customers discover their holiday aspirations by accessing the best holiday deals on the market with best-known travel companies.
The new travel agency is part of travel consortium The Global Travel Group (www.globaltravelgroup.com), which is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year.
Speaking of the opening Donna Nixon, owner of 52 Degrees North Travel says:
“We’re very excited to be launching our independent travel agency. People can lose money and hours of their time looking for holidays, the internet can be a real mine field. We are ATOL protected and have access to specialist suppliers, meaning our customers can get the holiday they want and be protected. What’s more, thanks to The Global Travel Group’s ongoing training programme, our customers will always be able to rely on us to deliver personalised holiday advice that ensures they can get the best out of their travels.”
Marie MacDonald, sales and business development manager, The Global Travel Group added: “The trend is very much going towards people using independent travel agents as they can offer a personal service, ATOL protection, expert advice as well as great value for money. We are thrilled that 52 Degrees North Travel have joined us and I am confident they have a great future ahead in this fantastic industry.”
