Dizzy heights, dancing goals, thrills, slides, illuminations all bundled up into quality family time.
A much-needed family weekend away! That’s what we have returned from. Off we set, up North to Blackpool for a weekend of fun and family time.
We stayed at the Haven, Cala Gran Holiday Park, which included the leisure passes for access to the swimming pool, to book activities (football), entry to the restaurants and the evening bars with live entertainment.
Based 7 miles from Blackpool it gave us the perfect opportunity to go in to town to see the sights and then retreat back to the very comfortable Prestige 3-bedroom caravan we were saying in.
Over the three says we squeezed in a cha-cha-cha on the Tower Ballroom dance floor (life goal right there!), a trip up the tower to step onto the glass walkway (not for me!), a whole day at the pleasure beach, tram ride to see the illuminations, football coaching, swimming (with slides), 80’s pop bingo, live music, a beach promenade walk, fun in the arcades and a carvery Sunday lunch.
We all had a fantastic time with family and came back with great memories, totally shattered but happy.
If you fancy a family break away, I am able to book Haven, Butlins, Warner Bros., Hoseasons as well as thousands of UK hotels.
